Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the website and services provided by WebRank Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients of WebRank Solutions.

Services

WebRank Solutions provides web design, search engine optimisation (SEO), local SEO, AI SEO, speed optimisation, and e-commerce development services. The specific scope of work, deliverables, and timelines for each project will be outlined in a separate proposal or agreement provided before work begins.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone at our discretion.

Quotes and proposals

All quotes and proposals provided by WebRank Solutions are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change if the scope of work changes after a quote has been accepted.

A project only begins once both parties have agreed to the proposal and any required deposit has been received.

Payment terms

Payment terms will be specified in your project proposal. Unless otherwise agreed:

  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins
  • The remaining 50% is due upon project completion, before the website goes live
  • Monthly SEO retainers are invoiced at the start of each month and are due within 14 days
  • Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998

All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Client responsibilities

To ensure we can deliver your project on time, you agree to:

  • Provide all required content, images, and materials in a timely manner
  • Respond to feedback requests and approval stages promptly
  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your business
  • Ensure you have the right to use any content or materials you supply to us

Delays caused by late provision of materials may result in adjusted timelines.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you will own the completed website design and any custom content we create for you. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and case studies unless you request otherwise in writing.

Any third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences. We will inform you of any ongoing licence requirements.

We retain ownership of any proprietary tools, frameworks, or code libraries used across multiple client projects.

Website hosting and domains

Unless we have agreed to manage your hosting, you are responsible for maintaining your own hosting and domain name. We can recommend suitable hosting providers and assist with setup.

If we manage hosting on your behalf, separate hosting terms and fees will apply.

SEO services

Search engine optimisation is an ongoing process and results are not guaranteed. While we use proven, white-hat strategies to improve your search rankings, we cannot guarantee specific positions on Google or any other search engine.

SEO results depend on many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, competitor activity, and market conditions. We will provide transparent monthly reporting on progress and performance.

SEO retainers require a minimum commitment of 3 months. After the initial period, either party may cancel with 30 days written notice.

Revisions and changes

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as outlined in your proposal. Additional revisions or changes to the agreed scope of work may be subject to additional charges, which will be communicated before any extra work is carried out.

Limitation of liability

WebRank Solutions will not be held liable for:

  • Any loss of business, revenue, or profits arising from the use or inability to use our services
  • Any issues caused by third-party services, hosting providers, or software
  • Loss of data or security breaches beyond our reasonable control
  • Temporary downtime during website updates or maintenance

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service in question.

Termination

Either party may terminate a project or ongoing service with 30 days written notice. In the event of termination:

  • You will be invoiced for all work completed up to the date of termination
  • Any deposit paid is non-refundable if work has already commenced
  • We will provide you with all completed work and assets upon full payment

We reserve the right to terminate services immediately if you breach these terms or engage in unlawful activity.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of a project. This obligation continues after the termination of our working relationship.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
